why is it so hard to break away from material wants?

i am on a major spending spree now that i am in the US, just cos everything is cheaper here than in singapore.

i will promise to be good when i get back! and wear all my clothes/bags/shoes

it’s annoying when people try to be nice to you, and you know they’ve got other intentions (i.e. try to make use of you, want you to do favours for them). i don’t need people to be nice to me, i don’t really care.

i have enough fantastic friends and i don’t need to invest in meaningless relationships.

right now, i don’t really care what other people think, i am just going to hang out with people that i actually like.
